I still believe this!

The biggest challenge that many of us face in life is lack of (or limited) information.
We are born into the flesh, but we are not the flesh. We say this is "my" body, the same way we say this is my coat.
We are given a name that identifies our flesh, but no one knows who we are when we are born.
We learn to respond to that name given to our flesh.
We learn that we are that person whose name our parents say we are.
We learn to think and act according to the customs of our culture and society.
We learn to act according to what is expected of us in our flesh.
We are NOT generally taught from the spiritual perspective of who we are, why we are here and where we are going.
We are NOT generally taught to discern the deeper meanings of life although there are exceptions in some cultures.
When I was a child I made a promise to myself that I would not forget where I came from.
I came from spirit.
I came from a place where I had direct contact with infinite knowledge flowing like an inner river.
I came from a place of security.
I came from a place of love.
I came from a place of creativity.
I came from a place of freedom.
I came from a place created by the supreme, primal, causal being.
I came from a place where the causal being became all that exists and created and became the environments where everyone and everything exists.
I came from a place where I knew who I was and my connection to my creator.
I held on to this identity until I was 27 years of age.
But then,
I realized that I was living more of a life in spirit.
I was not fully living life as a human being in our culture and society.
I was not living life "normally".
I became a human being.
I became a woman.
I became a mother.
I became a wife.
I became a member of a community.
I became an advocate.
I became a grandmother.
I forgot who I was.
I was lost in the experience of my life.
Now, I am remembering.
Now, I am awakening.
Now, I am remembering, that I forgot.
Now, I am remembering what I promised myself that I would not forget.
Now, I am remembering that I am God living my life as this small character, woman, mother, wife, community member, advocate and grandmother.
Now I am remembering what I forgot and promised myself that I would not forget.
Now, I am remembering that I am the drop of God that misses the ocean of God.
Now, I am remembering that I am still and will always be within God.
Now, I am remembering this is true of all.
